Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon

2 cups rolled oats
3.75 cups of water
3 small apples or 1.5 cups of finely chopped apples
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1/4 cup + 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
Optional: chopped pecans or other nuts, when applying

Hercules, water, apples, cinnamon and nutmegPut in a medium-sized saucepan. Bring all to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once the mixture has boiled, reduce the heat to minimum and leave to cook until the apples are not flakes and boil for a few minutes and do not become soft.
Remove the oatmeal from heat and add sugar to taste. What sweeter apples, the less you will need sugar. sprinkle all the nuts, if desired.
